Ah, yet another RTS brought out into an already cluttered market. With games like Halo 2, Half Life 2 and GTA: San Andreas soon to be (or already) released, does this game have anything to make it worth spending your hard earned cash on?
Not having played the first Kohan game, I was coming into this one somewhat blind. Was this just another boring RTS, I asked myself, brought out for no other reason than because the first one was a mild success? Does it have anything to differentiate it from the mass of other RTSs on the market? Would I have to give out yet another bad review score? Luckily for me, the answers to these questions are no, yes and no, respectively.
If, like me, you’re unfamiliar with the story of the first Kohan, do not despair, as pieces of it are revealed to you as you go along. Here’s the general gist of the second game: After the immortal Kohan defeated the evil Ceyah leader Ahriman in the first game, his followers and what was left of his armies fled. Now the Kohan Seeker Naava Daishan pursues them, intending to end the threat of the Ceyah and the Shadow once and for all.
